"More Watch Dates for May, 2019"

Hello John and Doves,

Adding more dates in May to our 'Watch List".

May 14:  the Gregorian day of Israeli Independence; Israel's 71st anniversary.

Iyar 10 the day G-d told Noah and his family and the animals to enter the ark and the day G-d closed the door on the ark; the 7 day warning for the Great Flood; Omer: Day 25:  May 14 (sunset)/May 15 (sunset)

Many consider 'door' as reference to the Rapture.  As Noah and his family were saved from the tribulation of the flood, so Christians will be saved from the tribulation of fire - the Great and final Tribulation.

Matthew 24:37-40:  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark...And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.  That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Two men will be in the field:  one will be taken and the other left...."

Iyar 14 the Second Passover, Pesach Sheini, Omer: Day 29:  May 18/19

Some believe this second Passover is a good 'watch day' for the Rapture.

Numbers 9:9-12:  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites:  when any one of you or your descendants is unclean because of a dead body, or is away on a journey, he may still observe the Passover to the Lord.  Such people are to observe it at twilight on the fourteenth day of the second month.  They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs; they may not leave any of it until morning or break any of its bones.  They must observe the Passover according to all its statutes.

Number 9:13-13  But the man who is ceremonially clean, is not on a journey, and still fails to observe the Passover, is to be cut off from his people, because he did not present the LORD's offering at its appointed time....If a foreigner dwelling among you wants to observe the Passover to the LORD, he is to do so according to the Passover statute and ordinances.  You are to apply the same statues to both the foreigner and the native of the land."

Iyar 17 the day 'the floodwaters came upon the earth"; resurrection day of the Second Passover; Omer: Day 32':  May 21/May 22

The flood came in the 600th year of Noah's life; is this our 6000th year since creation?

Genesis 7:10-11  "And after seven days the floodwaters came upon the earth.  In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened."

Iyar 20 the Israelites set out for the first time when they were in the Sinai after leaving Egypt; G-d gives orders for the trumpet blasts, Omer: Day 35: May 24/25

The LORD had instructed Moses to make 2 trumpets to call the people to come to him and to announce they were moving their camps.  When the trumpet sounds during the Rapture, we will be called to assemble before the LORD and will be caught up to Him in the clouds.

Numbers 10:11-13:  On the twentieth day of the second month of the second year, the cloud was lifted from above the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and the Israelites set out out from the Wilderness of Sinai....They set out, this first time, according to the LORD's command through Moses.

Numbers 10:1-10:  The the LORD said to Moses, "Make two trumpets of hammered silver to be used for calling the congregation and for having the camps set out.  When both are sounded, the whole congregation is to assemble before you at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting...When you sound short blasts, the camps that lie on the east side are to set out.  When you sound the short blasts a second time, the camps that lie on the south side are to set out.  The blasts are to signal them to set out.  To convene the assembly, you are to sound long blasts, not short ones.  The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to sound the trumpets.  This shall be a perpetual statue for you and the generations to come.

Numbers 10:10  And on your joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, the beginning of each month, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will serve as a reminder for you before your God.  I am the LORD your God."

Iyar 25  Omer: Day 40, Ascension Day: May 30

On this day, Jesus was taken up into the clouds, ten days before Pentecost.

Maybe one of these days will be the Rapture!

Hopefully, May will be our last month for 'watch day' updates!

Maranatha!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

I am using the chabad.org calendar - the sighting of the new moon is not considered for these calendar dates; so we would, usually, just add another day for the sighting of the sliver of the new moon.

May 15:  Nakba Day, "Day of Catastrophe" for the Palestinians;  the day after the Gregorian calendar date, May 14, Israeli Independence day.  in 1998, Arafat declared this day as the "annual day of commemoration of the displacement that preceded and followed the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948."  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakba_Day

Last year on this day, over 60 Palestinians were killed during their rioting on the Gaza/Israeli border.
