Hi Five Doves Family,

The Lord has really been impressing on me the power of prayer and I've seen mountains move recently. So I'd like to ask you to pray for someone near and dear to my heart -- my 11-year-old german shepherd Lucas.  Lucas has canine degenerative myelopathy.

This is an incurable, progressive disease of the canine spinal cord that is similar in many ways to ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. It's a cruel disease, not painful, but the dogs slowly become paralyzed starting in their hind legs and gradually moving up their body. It's so heartbreaking just watching them gradually lose the use of their limbs. My other german shepherd, Chloe, died of the same disease a couple of years ago.

So, if you could remember Lucas during your prayer time, I'd really, really appreciate it.
