"I almost missed the
rapture!"
“The Rapture Ride” --- what I’ve longed
for my entire life!!! Last weekend I was struck with
appendicitis, I kept putting off going to the doc… “it’ll go
away on its own” mentality…. Besides I had things to do!
Didn’t have time for this, etc. etc.
Within 24 hours I had to FIND TIME to deal with it –as I arrived
to the hospital, it had not only ruptured but “exploded” plus it
was hidden BEHIND my colon….. so the surgeon whose done these
for well over 25 years said mine was 300% more
difficult! When it exploded, there was gangrene in
there. I was told by several members of the hospital staff
it was a good thing I arrived when I did – because it was almost
“too late” & my body would’ve gone septic….. end of the
road. I was hospitalized for the rest of the
week. Home now, very worn out, very sore…. Just plum
exhausted. Prayers for speedy recovery GREATLY
appreciated!!
Look, while I’m not a doctor, I know in my own case I “should
have” given up all flour & wheat products – I did for some
12 years then started feeling deprived again…. so I’d deceive
myself that “cheating just a little” was no big deal. ßcan
almost imagine hearing a serpent whispering in my ear on that
one!] Tho’ I’ve never been diagnosed w/celiac, I’ve
long suspected it. Because even tiny bits of wheat would
give me a miserable “blockage” for days!! I’d learn my
lesson, get it out of my system, then turn around & repeat
the same process again. I paid DEARLY for
this!!! While I’ll not know for sure, my best hypothesis
is the wheat which was damaging my “insides” led to this
horrible nightmare of acute appendicitis. [AND btw,
there’s nothing “cute” about it.]
Only reason I’m giving this info is cuz if you or someone you
know feels weird or is moody & cantankerous or constipated
after eating anything with flour in it -- you might want
to rethink it!! You may want to give it up entirely.
If you could see all the needle holes poked in me right now, all
the bruises FROM the needles & IV’s….see the stitches in my
stomach or feel any of the pain….. possibly you might want to
rethink eating wheat!! ESPECIALLY if you know you have an
issue with it. [I once suggested this to a friend
w/fibromyalgia – but instead of even “considering” it – nope,
QUICKLY DISMISSED IT as “this just runs in my family” I’m
thinking why on earth wouldn’t a person in chronic pain be
willing to give it at least a 3 to 4 week trial? Each to
his own, but so many just “accept” things as that’s the way they
are & are not willing to put forth effort.]
After what I’ve endured this week, I have clearer sharper
20/20 hindsight from my own personal experience, that I
wish I would have GIVEN IT UP, every single bite of it!!
If the cake bites at Starbucks were just “too tempting” well
just leave Starbucks alone then.
And me…. The “natural health nut”!!!! Popping
supplements all day long will not do a bit of good if we eat
lousy.
Just saying!
THANK YOU for lifting me to Heaven’s Throne Room once again!!!!!
…. Till Jesus comes!!.....
