"RE: Fay: 05.13.18: weariness and confusion"

Fay,
It becomes increasingly clear to me that the 3.5 year Great Trib is for die-hard non-believers. Giving them a second chance.
That is a powerful point, and I agree with you.
Even when the very wicked and violent city, Nineveh, repented, the LORD didn't destroy them.
It was like he was looking for repentance, and they were willing to repent.
It appears to be the same in the great tribulation.
It appears that he is looking for repentance.
Then it focuses on those who won't repent, and it is like he gives them multiple opportunities to repent.
However, some do not repent, which must break his heart, and they then are finally destroyed.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Why keep mentioning that they repented not, if it wasn't that they will be having opportunity to repent.
Also, that it seems to me, that this is what the LORD is looking for from them.
