I thought Ramadan was 'just a month of fasting' in Islam.  I did not realize Ramadan is their most brutal/violent month due to added blessings from Allah and promised victory over the infidels.

The "Ramadan Bombathon" in 2017 had 174 attacks and 1595 kills, according to The Religion of Peace website.

This year, the month of Ramadan may be the worst yet!  Looking at the tally from The Religion of Peace website, just the month of March this year was pretty bad!  It had almost as many attacks as the entire month of Ramadan last year!

This year Ramadan starts on the evening of May 15 and ends the evening of June 14.

The 'Night of Power/Decree' (Laylat Al Qadr) is considered the holiest night of the year. Muhammad is believed to have received his first revelation of the Quran on this night.  Angels are suppose to descend to earth on this night and prayers are more valuable.  This 'holy' night is traditionally celebrated on the 27th day of Ramadan.  But it can be on any odd night in the last 10 days of Ramadan.  This year, the 27th of Ramadan is on June 11.

I thought possibly the 'chosen' date for the destruction of Israel by Iran would be before or after this month - maybe not!  If they are looking for Allah's blessing of victory....

Important dates around the start of Ramadan:  Israel's 70th anniversary is May 14th and the 33rd Day Count of the Omer is May 2/3 and The Feast of Weeks/Pentecost is May 20th (on one calendar).  Important date around the end of Ramadan is Jun 12/13 Jerusalem Day.
