Hi all,
After a few months of testing the value
of integrating a PI Search at http://www.NewJerusalem.org,
I am pleased to announce the introduction to the Best PI
Search on the Internet with up to 10 billion digits, and it
is extremely fast. Every digit up to 8 digits in
length has been indexed to the first occurrence, so the
speed at which most digits are located is within
milliseconds. If you continue searching for
“next” occurrences, the search is optimized by algorithms to
quickly locate the next occurrence usually within fractions
of seconds. The longer the search string, the
chances of searching the entire 10 billion digits are
higher, but the search to find the 20 digit string at the
end takes about 30 seconds.
WHY?
It turns out, over the past few months of
turning my attention to PI, I have had a few significant
finds. For example…
