"To Diane Chapman - re: Clare DuBois"

Diane,

What you stated in your post is one of the hallmark progressions of a cult. They start out speaking of love and truth and goodness --- and God loves all of us (which he does) and we should not be divided by DOCTRINE, but united by agape love. They draw people into their cult like sugar attracts flies. First one or two, then a dozen, then a couple hundred, then before you know it, there may be thousands of followers. Clare now has more than 16,000 subscribers. Slowly, over time, they begin to add little snippets here and there of total disregard for scripture, substituting their own philosophies and then equalizing them with scripture.  One of the last things they do is to warn people who do not believe THEM - that God will bring a curse upon their head and they will be sent to hell. This is how they manage to bring their "followers" under total CONTROL - with FEAR! You have to come to ME for the truth! Otherwise you will be forever lost. All cults do this! One lady said on one of her videos that God told her that people who mocked her and did not believe HER would be sent to hell! They get this "I'm holier than thou" attitude and they end up lording it over the flock and loving every minute of it!  What was it that Jesus warned about more than anything else in these last days? DECEPTION! See the Olivet Discourse in Matt 24. Jesus speaking: "Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matt 24;4) He also said that many would come in his name saying that "I am he". You can be sure that if Jesus warned of deception more than anything else in these last days - we need to pay attention! How to keep from being deceived? Let the Bible be your final authority, not some religious medium! Do not give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils!
