"BORN WITH TWO WILLS"

Man is born with two wills. The enjoyment of doing the will of God, which is to do only what is good. And the enjoyment of doing the will of self, which is to do only what is evil. The will of God is in the seed the Lord has planted in every man. And the will of self is what we have in our flesh. These two wills don't mix. And are continually fighting within man to rule. When the will of God rules the man is wise and spiritual. However, if the will of self rules the man becomes foolish and natural. The more we practice being righteous the more we become like our heavenly Father and are being prepared for a life in God's heavenly kingdom. And the more we live sinful and wicked lives the more we become devils and are being prepared for hell.

"Children, don't let anyone deceive you — it is the person that keeps on doing what is right who is righteous, just as God is righteous. The person who keeps on sinning is from the Adversary, because from the very beginning the Adversary has kept on sinning. It was for this very reason that the Son of God appeared, to destroy these doings of the Adversary. No one who has God as his Father keeps on sinning, because the seed planted by God remains in him. That is, he cannot continue sinning, because he has God as his Father. Here is how one can distinguish clearly between God's children and those of the Adversary: everyone who does not continue doing what is right is not from God. Likewise, anyone who fails to keep loving his brother is not from God." [1 John 3:7-10]

The Lord, in His mercy, gives us time on earth to choose where we want to ultimately end up. In heaven with Him or in hell with the Devil. The choice is ours. No body is going to be in heaven if they don't want to be there. If they do, they must start living a good life, here on earth NOW!

"To those who seek glory, honor and immortality by perseverance in doing good, he will pay back eternal life." [Rom.2:7]

"So let us not grow weary of doing what is good; for if we don’t give up, we will in due time reap the harvest." [Gal.6:9]

"...don’t forget doing good and sharing with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." [Heb.13:16]

"Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good." [Rom.12:21]

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life..." [John 5:28,29]

Paul wrote:

"For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this [that is, the ability to trust] is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. You were not delivered by your own actions [because our good actions originate from the Lord through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit]; therefore no one should boast. For we are of God’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a LIFE OF GOOD ACTIONS already prepared by God for US TO DO." [Eph.2:8-10][words in bracket are mine]

The ability to believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and God is a gift given to us by the Lord Himself. Without this belief the Holy Spirit cannot dwell in us! And if He's not in us we don't have the power for a life of good actions! When we do acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and God, the Holy Spirit starts to dwell in us and continually inspires us to refrain from doing evil, and to start doing good. This is how we receive eternal life now, in preparation for the translation of our bodies from mortality to immortality, when the Lord comes.
