"What if one of the most horrific things that has happened, is actually a sampling of what will still happen?"

What if one of the most horrific things that has happened, is actually a sampling of what will still happen?

II Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
----------------------------------
Will there be cities overthrown, where every man woman, child, and pet will be burned alive?
Will the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrha be repeated in modern cities, before it is all over?
Could it happen before the blessed hope?
Or could it happen simultaneous with the blessed hope?
Will there be a fiery overthrow of cities, even in America, where the wickedness rivals or exceeds Sodom or Gomorrha?
There were little children in Sodom and Gomorrha, who found themselves on fire, perhaps while going to school or play.
It was the fault of those who were older, who had been so vile, that it forced the hand of the LORD.
How much farther do some cities need to go, to invoke this kind of judgment?
Or like children in the car's backseat keep asking, "Are we there yet?"
Abraham had advance knowledge of what was to happen.
Lot found out, but only a few hours beforehand.
But absolutely everyone else was caught totally off guard.
Does our current President seem bent on forcing the LORD's hand upon some of our cities?
Will small, American children, also get burned up, because of how vile the adults & the government currently are?
Will fire from heaven come down upon places in America because of the wickedness therein, and the wickedness of our government?
