"Jan J re Rene"

Hello Jan,

I really argued with myself re entering into this issue as it's not something that really affects me. I trust in the common sense of the Bible believing Christians that read this website. Common sense tells me that Clare's visions and pronouncements are over the top. My personal bug bear is Christians that make money out of God. While I understand that people have to make a living, it's another story when that money earning ministry draws in desperate folk who are easily misguided. Stick to Bible truth and you can make quite a nice living, I believe. Anything that's outside of that becomes rather suspect. Rene has proved herself to be a real, truth seeking child of God. She does NOT make a habit of slandering or belittling people. She cares about more people being misled or given false hope. This Clare person suggests (by her personal and unique visions) that she is somehow blessed in a way that no-one else is. That her words - outside of pure Bible truth - are - in fact, new revelations. Take young Nathan in comparison. Young, innocent and biblically ignorant. This shy young man simply told what he saw. He wasn't treated to any waltzes with Jesus. He felt ashamed and embarrassed. If he starts a money making website and ministry on the back of his vision, I shall be bitterly disappointed.

Saying all that, I feel I have an apology to make. When I take on the subject of the pope - the pronouncements of the Vatican etc., I am most certainly not denigrating Catholic church members. there's a strong possibility *cough* that I have failed to make this clear. God Almighty knows what's in a person's heart. AND - I will make that famous statement that always sounds so insincere (but is true in this case) that some of my dearest friends are catholic adherents. I thoroughly dislike organised religion - particularly huge money making corporations. However, my catholic mates REALLY are sincere - just glued to the catholic corporation and enamoured of the pope. God, after much prayer, has made me realise that organised religion - particularly when that religion has a history of blood, murder, torture, paedophilia (the priests) -over HUNDREDS of years. What part of "Ye shall know them by their fruits" do we not get???  Seriously - the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
