"Don't be a Pharisee - learn the lesson."

Although the Pharisees in Jesus time had the knowledge of both a suffering Savior who would come and offer Himself for their sins and a Savior who would return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to rule and establish His Kingdom - They disregarded the planned order of God's will to save them and chose their own will and plan of salvation.
The same applies today - God is a God who's will must be followed as He does all things according to His time and plan and not ours.   It is absolutely critical that we know God's planned events for our time otherwise, like the Pharisees we will be looking for the wrong Jesus.
We are told when we begin to see certain signs in the last days - we are to STOP looking around and look up.  Our Redemption is near !  This is a command. He is coming very soon to Redeem what He has made a deposit on and is committed to pick up.  As a bridegroom enters an engagement to marry he then presents a ring as a committment.  When the TIME IS RIGHT and all their plans are completed - both Groom and Bride are ready to be married. The Groom comes to redeem His Bride and makes good His promise to her. Both are faithful and ready for the joy of being together.
What time is it?  Jesus is coming for His Bride next - to snatch her away from the things are coming upon this earth.  It is not the Bride who needs purifying - she has made herself ready - but those who are unfaithful to their promise and left their first love - they must be purified.
The Bride will come out of the Church who has remained faithful and ready at all times for their Lord's return. What is left behind is not The Church - it has now become The Bride. Those left behind are all who were not faithful, left their first love, did not look up and did not listen when the Spirit and Bride said - COME.  They did not know their time (like the Pharisees) and chose their knowledge and will over God' perfect timing and planned will.  As disobedient children - they will now be disciplined and made ready for Jesus' return not as Bridegroom but as Lord and Ruler to put an end to wickedness and establish His Kingdom.
Don't be a Pharisee - learn the lesson.
