"Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem]...to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation)..." [Dan.9:24][AMP]

The Jewish people and the city of Jerusalem, are the Lord's time clock that reveals to us where we are on the Lord's Timeline.

The 490 Years are split into 3 separate time periods.

49 Years + 434 Years + 7 Years = 490 Years

The city of Jerusalem was completely destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC.

Jeremiah had prophesied that Israel would remain in captivity in Babylon for 70 Years, and Jerusalem would remain a desolate city for that length of time.

"And this whole land shall be a waste and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years." [Jeremiah 25:11]

Daniel was just a teenager when he was taken to Babylon, and by the time the 70 Years was almost up he was around 85 Years old! 

He already knew about Jeremiah's prophecy and decided to pray for his people, and the city of Jerusalem around 539 BC. 

"...I, Daniel, understood from the books the number of years which, according to the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass by before the desolations [which had been] pronounced on Jerusalem should end; and it was seventy years. And I set my face to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer..." [Daniel 9:2,3][AMP]

The Lord heard Daniel's prayer, and sent the Angel Gabriel to him, to show him the Timeline of two restorations of Jerusalem, and as a consequence, the Year [1 AD] of the Lord's 1st coming as a baby, born of a virgin, and the Year [6000 AD] of His 2nd coming in the heavens, to gather up His saints!

"Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of (49) years] and sixty-two weeks [of (434) years]; it shall be built again with [city] square and moat, but in troublous times." [Daniel 9:25][AMP]

Artaxerxes became king in 454 BC. 

Twenty Years into his reign brings us to 434 BC!

In Month 1, Year 434 BC, king Artaxerxes issued the commandment for the restoration and building of Jerusalem!

For we read,

"In the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, I took up the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not been sad before in his presence."

"So the king said to me, Why do you look sad, since you are not sick? ...And said to the king, Let the king live forever! Why should I not be sad faced when the city, the place of my fathers’ sepulchers, lies waste, and its [fortified] gates are consumed by fire?" 

"The king said to me, For what do you ask? So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to [him], If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you will send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ sepulchers, that I may rebuild it...And a letter to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest or park, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple and for the city wall..." [Neh. 2:1-5,8][AMP]

"Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince shall be...sixty-two weeks [of [434] years]

The above verse is referring to the Lord's 1st Coming!

We count down from 434 BC [62 weeks] to 1 BC then to 1 AD.

There is no Year 0!

In 1 AD The Lord Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, a Prince, was born to a virgin, by the name of Mary!

Daniel was then told,

"...after the sixty-two weeks [of (434) years] shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing [and no one] belonging to [and defending] Him." [Daniel 9:26][AMP]

This is exactly what happened, for on Day 14 Month 1 Year 33 AD [Friday the 3rd of April 33], the Lord was crucified!

The Lord rose from the dead on Day 16 Month 1 Year 33 [Sunday the 5th of April 33 AD].

Then the Lord ascended up into heaven a few weeks later, from where He poured out His Holy Spirit, on the Day of Pentecost.

The Holy Spirit is God's gift to all those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and God.

In 33 AD, the city of Jerusalem continued to exist for another 37 Years until it was completely destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.

"And the [Roman] people of the [other] prince [Pope Francis] who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood; and even to the end there shall be war, and desolations are decreed." [Dan.9:26][AMP]

Now this is where things really begin to get interesting!

"Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of (49) years] and sixty-two weeks [of (434) years]; it shall be built again with [city] square and moat, but in troublous times." [Daniel 9:25][AMP]

Most Bible scholars that have studied the above verse tend to add seven weeks [49 Years] to sixty two weeks [434 Years] to arrive at a total of sixty nine weeks [483 Years].

This is wrong because the angel Gabriel told Daniel that the Anointed One will be killed after sixty-two weeks [434 Years] and not after sixty nine weeks [483 Years]!

"...after the sixty-two weeks [of (434) years] shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing [and no one] belonging to [and defending] Him." [Daniel 9:26][AMP]

I believe the angel Gabriel was revealing to Daniel that the city of Jerusalem was to be restored a second time, in our generation, after it was destroyed in 70 AD!

On the Day of Trumpets on the 27th of September 1965 [Day 1 Month 7 Year 5951] the Lord issued a Divine command from heaven for the restoration and rebuilding of Jerusalem again. 

That Day began the 7 Week [49 Years] part of Daniel's Prophecy. We know this to be true because 21 Months later Israel recapture the City of Jerusalem in the 6 Day war in June of 1967!

For the first time since 70 AD the City of Jerusalem was once again back under Jewish control!

The 7 [49 Year] Week part of Daniel's prophecy ended on the 4th of October 2014 [Day 9 Month 7 Year 6000]

The 120th Jubilee Year began on 5th of October 2014 [Day 10 Month 7 Year 6000]

We are NOW in the Year of the Messiah the Prince!!!

"Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks [49 Years]..." Daniel 9:25]

This is the Year [5th October 2014 - 15th September 2015] within which the Lord will come from heaven, to give us glorified bodies, just like the one He has!!!

"...we are citizens of heaven, and it is from there that we expect a Deliverer, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah. He will change the bodies we have in this humble state and make them like his glorious body, using the power which enables him to bring everything under his control." [Phil.3:20,21]

The 120th Jubilee Year will end on Day 30 Month 6 Year 6000 [15th September 2015]

Then Daniel's last week [of 7 Years] will begin!

49 Years + 434 Years + 7 Years = 490 Years

This will be from Day 1 Month 7 Year 6001 [16th September 2015]

I believe, by this time, offerings and animal sacrifices will once again be permitted on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem!

In the book of Daniel, the Antichrist, is called "the horn", while the false prophet is called "the prince" 

They should not be mixed up!

Of the horn we read,

"...the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom...He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time [12 Months] and times [24 Months] and half [6 Months] a time." [Dan.7:21,22,25]

The horn will persecute the Christians who will be left behind because they weren't willing to prepare themselves for the Lord's coming in the Rapture on the 17th of July 2015 [Day 29 Month 4 Year 6000], the Day of the First-fruits at the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost]

These Christians will have to endure persecution for a total period of 42 Months [12+24+6].

This will be from the 9th of March 2019 [Day 1 Month 1 Year 6004], until the Lord comes back, with His glorified saints, on the 29th of July 2022 [Day 29 Month 4 Year 6007], the Day of the First-fruits at the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost]!!!

Of the prince we read,

"And he [Pope Francis] shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator." [Daniel 9:27]

From the 16th of September 2015 the prince [Pope Francis] will confirm a 7 Year covenant with Israel to allow worship on the Temple Mount.

42 Months later, by the 6th of February 2019 [Day 30 Month 11 Year 6004], Pope Francis will stop all burnt offerings and animal sacrifices from taking place on the Temple mount! 

Then from the 7th of February 2019 [Day 1 Month 12 Year 6004] Pope Francis himself will sit in the newly built temple, as God for 42 Months!

For he,

"...exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." [2 Thess.2:4]

The 42 Months will end on the 30th of June 2022 [Day 30 Month 3 Year 6007]

After the 30th of June 2022, both the horn and the prince will be captured and disposed of in the lake of fire!

"Then the beast [that is, the horn or the Antichrist] was captured, and with him the false prophet [that is, the prince] who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone." [Rev.19:20]

On the 29th of July 2022 [Day 29 Month 4 Year 6007], on First-fruits at the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost] the Lord will descend from heaven, along with His glorified saints, for the final battle against all the wicked nations that will come against Jerusalem! On that Day we will stand with Him on the Mount of Olives!

Behold, the Day [Pentecost] of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken...Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that Day [Pentecost] His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east...Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.
It shall come to pass in that Day [Pentecost]
That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
It shall be one Day
Which is known to the Lord—
Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
That it will be light...And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that Day [Pentecost] it shall be— “The Lord is One,”
And His name One. [Zech.14:1-5,7,9]

I believe the Lord will come for us on Pentecost this Year, in 2015, and we'll return with Him, 7 Years later, on Pentecost in the Year 2022! 

Then all the Fall Feasts [Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles] will be fulfilled by the Lord, from the 28th of September 2022 - 19th of October 2022.
