It
was only a matter of time before this would happen! America's dramatic
moral and ethical decline from the 1940's and 1950's was marked by two
landmark events. First, prayer was removed from American schools in
1962-63, and then the murdering of the unborn was legalized in 1973 with
"Roe vs. Wade". Since then around 58 million of the unborn have been
murdered (doesn't the term "abortion" sound much more pleasant?!). I
have said this before, and I will say it again. If God gives America a
pass for murdering 58 million unborn children, then He will have to
apologize to Hitler for murdering ONLY 6 million Jews! America has
murdered almost ten times as many! Make no mistake about it, judgment
will come upon America for this grave national sin! The question is not
if, the question is only when.
In
the decades since the 1940's and 1950's America's interest in the
occult has steadily risen. As God is rejected in a society, Satan is
always ready to fill the void! In the 1940's one could go into many
churches in America and hear the gospel preached in its full strength
and power! People left the churches convicted to live decent moral and
ethical lives. But today? Well, today is an entirely different
matter! While there are still a few solid churches, many, many churches
today are lukewarm "people-pleasing" churches that tell people from
from the pulpit what they want to hear rather than what they should hear
(2 Timothy 4:3 & 4)! A person steeped in sin could sit comfortably
in one of these churches, leave the church convicted of nothing, and
just continue a lifestyle of sin! When God is reduced to "pleasant
platitudes" Satan steps in!
And
so this new TV program is no surprise! The hour is now very late in
these End Times, and looming in front of us is the Rapture, followed by
the worst, most terrifying time in all of human history, the 7 year
Tribulation Period. Satan's "man of the hour" the antichrist is now
close at hand! What nations and individuals sow, so shall they reap!
For her evil America will reap bitter herbs!

If anyone thinks that what I have written above is a joke, then
consider this. In the 1820's America had a grave national
sin-----slavery! I am sure there were preachers then who warned of
judgment coming upon America for this. But the vast, vast majority did
not listen! And then 30 years later in the 1850's many would come to
those preachers and say, "You have been talking about this for 30 years
and no judgment has come upon America! You fool!" Well, what did
happen? Judgment did indeed fall upon America, and America did indeed
reap what she had sown. During the Civil War (1861 to 1865) somewhere
between 500,000 to 600,000 Americans died on American soil! The price
was paid!

Lucifer Makes Prime Time

I
guess the Fox Network really is fair and balanced. They present the
good, the bad, and the truly ugly. In this case the "ugly" is a program
about Lucifer. That's right: Lucifer leaves Hell and becomes a resident
of Los Angeles. I'm not making this up.A trailer for
the show portrays Lucifer as a handsome, British-accented, well-to-do
lady killer full of charm and wit. The more subtle side of Satanism in
Hollywood entertainment is now a thing of the past. Prime time
television now will air blatant drama featuring Lucifer but portrayed by
a character who is just a nice guy.
Based on the show's trailer, the Lucifer character will be offered up to the masses who watch the Fox program as a likable character with moral and ethical convictions, fulfilling the biblical account of this insidious demonic entity. It's only fitting then, that this modern-day show would portray Lucifer as a type of benevolent god, since this was always his goal. It was to take the place of the real God.

One
commentator said that the masses are increasingly obsessed with evil so
why not make a program glorifying Satan? You might say that Hollywood
has done that for decades and featured their offerings to the evil one
on the big screen and you would be correct, but this program will be
prime time, available to millions with just the turn of a dial or push
of a TV transmitter.
Satan,
disguised as Mr. Nice-Guy, will come leaping into the family rooms of
millions of unsuspecting people, and particularly into the minds of
impressionable young people.
The
entertainment and book industry have paid homage to Lucifer for years
and with each generation, the interest becomes more and more staggering
-- and more bold and blatant.
Hollywood
has offered us "The Omen," "Rosemary's Baby," "The Exorcist," endless
Halloween dramas, Freddy Kruger's evil, and many nightmares on Elm
Street, but now it is not just coming to a street near you, it is coming
to your living room. And on a network you thought you could trust.
