Dear Doves:

 

God ordained the marriage of one man and one woman.  This is God's order for right living.   The marriage of a man to a woman is symbolic of the relationship of Jesus Christ and the church, the body of saved believers.

 

Ephesians 5:31-32 specifically states:

 

31  "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." 

 

32  "This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church."

 

The Apostle Paul is teaching a mystery.  A mystery is something unknown.   The husband and wife represent God's intended relationship between Jesus and the Church.   Christ is the head of the Church and the believers are the body. 

 

Ephesians 5:23 states that:

 

23   "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.

 

Colossians 1:18 states:

 

18  "And he is the head of the body, the church:..."

 

When God created Adam, He said that it was "not good that the man should be alone".  So God determined to make Adam a help mate. Genesis 2:18.   The Lord God put Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs and made woman.  

 

In Genesis 2:24 God said:

 

"Therefore shall man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."   Paul quotes Genesis in Ephesians 5:23.  

 

So as to this mystery, Christ and the church, God originally saw Adam and Eve as a "type" of Christ and the church.

 

Question:  So what does homosexual marriage represent ? 

 

Answer:   It represents a perversion of God's order of creation.  It is a form of blasphemy against the Most High Lord God !

 

How does this happen ?   Paul teaches the origin of this blasphemy in Romans 1.    God's response to rejection results in His wrath against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. Romans 1:18.   God's wrath may be expressed in "vain imaginations" and "darkened hearts".    God does give up on rebellious people.  Verse 26 states that God "gave them over to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:"  Verse 27: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet".  Verse 28:  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."

 

In 1973, the American Psychiatric Association voted to remove homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

 

In 1987, the American Psychiatric Association removed the diagnosis of "ego dystonic sexual orientation as a mental disorder.

 

At all times prior, this homosexual mental disorder classification was consistent with God's characterization of a "reprobate mind" associated with homosexual activities.

 

Finally, in Romans 1:32, God's word states: "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.   

 

The U.S. Supreme Court purports to acknowledge God.  The Court open sessions with the words, "God save the United States and this Honorable Court.   Does this Court know the words of God ?

 

If the Supreme Court determines that the homosexual community has a Constitutional right to "same sex marriage", this right will trump State law.  

 

The Court would then be guilty of judging God.   The Courts plea that God save the United States will mock the Most High God.   The Court's "same sex marriage" Constitutional right will compel ALL to "endorse them which practice "vile affections" and commit "unseemly acts" against God's natural order.

 

I am concluded in the belief that this Constitutional endorsement will be in violation of God's natural order and is an  "end time sign" of the "falling away" into apostasy.   2 Thessalonians 2:3 teaches:

 

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a "falling away" FIRST, ....."

 

A decision for "same sex marriage" will be a super sign of America's apostasy.

 

God save us.  Lord Jesus come quickly.
