Hi all, I have been reading quite a few articles and letters that people have been posting. I would like you all to please consider some biblical facts that most people never consider. I sure am not implying that I am right nor have every thing in the Torah, including up to revelation all figured. We all must not get locked in our thoughts of what we hold to be true as new facts and light are revealed. The return of JOSHUA! (This would be his English transliteration...more on that later) In revelation his return is just before the 1000 year reign. His return he said that no one knows the day nor the hour, but only the father. However, he does command us to watch for the signs and seasons. The master himself states that among a list of things, that it will be the worst conditions never before seen. That if he didn't return at that time "then no flesh would survive, but for the sake of the elect, THE DAYS WOULD BE SHORTENED!!!!. He also says that all would be deceived EVEN THE ELECT, IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. Therefore I don't believe in the rapture pre- tribulation. Prepare for the worst. However...that situation really is of no concern. What I want to say is that there is only one time where the season is shortened in the Torah. That day is the year of jubilee, which takes place on the 10th day of the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar. This calendar is not fixed like ours. It inst fixed like the modern day Jewish calendar. You must go by the first sighting of the moon. The First sliver of the waxing moon starts the Hebrew lunar month. The moon illuminates from right to full to left. The calendar is by sight not preprinted. It is always looked for. In Israel they would have watchman to watch for a 2 day period. When the watchmen saw it and was confirmed then the shofar was blown and the Sanhedrin would declare that to be the start of that particular month. The first month and start of the year God makes clear is the month of AVIV ( NISEN) aviv means fullness and is synonymous with being ripe. If the barley was not ripe before the last day of the 12th month in spring, then a 13th month was added. So regardless of the Jews claiming the feast of trumpets it the head of the year..Our God has stated when it starts. 14 days before the Passover is the start of the month. However in Leviticus 25 God makes it clear that the start of the jubilee year takes place in the 7th month on the10th day which is the day of atonement or Yom Kippur. Therefore in the middle of the last 49th sabbath year brings in the 50th jubilee. It's 2 sabbath years back to back, 49 and 50. Every seventh year is when the canceling of debts, slaves freed, and no farming of the labs is to occur. In the middle of year 49, starts the jubilee year. This is the year that the land that was sold (really it was a lease of the remaining years of that 50 year cycle) reverts back to That original owner. This is why I believe that his return should happen. We are commanded to watch for the moon, start that month when it's sighted, and on the first day of the 7th Hebrew month blow the trumpet to warn people. In Jewish society this was the first warning that they had 10 days to get prepared before Yom Kippur which after that day the "book of life' would be closed after the priest completed the sacrifices. So he must return on that 10th day because God commands the property to be returned to the owners control, and it's the only year that will cut short the 7th sabbath year (49th year) Ok now let's look at the mark of the beast... What does God say in his Torah abut a mark? Well if we go to Leviticus, he commands them to release all slaves every sabbath year start. This was not slavery as the world understands it. It was more of an indenture for up to 6 years. On the first of aviv slaves were set free and whatever the increase the master gained during his slaves indenturing, the now free slave would take that so that he was a self sufficient productive member and himself could help another. His master housed, fed, clothed, and taught him a trade. How wonderful gods plan was. In fact in a way the person who willingly sold himself into slavery for a time, for whatever reason, was really treated like a family member. However God says that if your slave decides he wants to stay because of his good master , then the master was to bring him to his doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl to earmark him for his life. What did God command every Israelite to post at his door? YOU GUESSED IT....GODS TORAH!!! I hope this is making sense. When the slave gives himself for life...he knows that his good master was doing as his own master (GOD) commanded and so he knew that as a slave he was also protected by gods Torah. The beast does the same. The 666 in the Greek is stigma, to puncture, pierce, as a sign or symbol of property ownership. The people will willingly sell themselves to keep the comforts of this world under a different master. But they aren't getting marked in front of the Torah which is a restraint to the master to safe-guard the slave by a master that has the potential to abuse the slave. People get marked to be the property of one who is Torah-less with no goodness to protect. Why would God want the earlobe pierced with an awl. I personally believe that as a physical representation of the spiritual, I believe God picked the ear because with it we hear...but deeper than that, it is the function of the inner ear which gives our body the ability to balance, and our equilibrium to stand up, walk, and not swagger left to right and stumble. And there is a lot of wolves teaching the dumb sheep with half truths, and the blindness the blind of the road and fall. I have so much more but I'm tired to typing. I will be sending more and may all of us not be led astray PS, the mainstream teaching and the majority of people are always wrong...all you have to do is read it on the Israelites. It's the few or one that God always sends to get the masses back to his word. That's what the main job of a prophet is. The prophet calls the masses to repent, turn back, and tells the consequences to come, and how to avoid the future punishment , and I it is even possible to avoid it. The prophet is not a future predictor.
