Dear Pastor Bob,
I
don't know what you're apologizing for. There's no need for one, you
haven't offended me in any way. Quite the contrary, in fact. I treasure
you both as a brother in Christ and as a teacher. When I have questions,
I ask; when I disagree, I say so. I try to do so agreeably.
Usually
the shoe is on the other foot. I sometimes think I was born to offend.
If I were to enter politics, my motto would be either, "Of equal offense
to all" or "born to offend". My wife, Roberta, has mastered the under
the table kick signifying, "Shut up!" The first one is a gentle
reminder; the second one hurts. I've never dared to try for a third.
Maranatha,
Bob

""Apology to Bob Anderson""
Dear Bob:
My apology to you Bob Anderson for misconstrued words that were never
meant as anything other than to exhort truth and honest discourse. It
wouldn't be the first time in my life that I in the expediency of the
moment neglected to read my own remarks for courtesy.
I ask your forgiveness as a Christian brother in an unintended remark.
Pastor Bob
