As I read Clay Cantrel's dream about the backward church it reminded me of a waking vision my husband had in church.  A man dressed with a head covering like a shepherd with a lamb skin vest over his bare chest was facing a blood red sunset blowing a long blast on a shofar at about a 45 degree angle.  He was in an arid country.

Now, I believe that to be a watchman blowing a warning sound and the reason for the blood red sunset is that it is a warning that time is coming to a close and it is time for Jesus to soon return.  I believe the lamb skin vest signifies the righteousness of Christ and it was on a bare chest because the man was clothed in Christ with no righteousness of his own.  I believe the arid country was Israel because when the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, the Lord will turn his attention to Israel.

Clay, I believe the man with a telescope was a watchman also and the brilliant red sunset was the same meaning, a warning (red=warning) of time coming to a close (sunsets close a day) and Jesus is about to return.  The backwards church is those with ears dull of hearing and are paying no attention to the bulletin's watchman's warning.

The Lord provides a witness of two or three when confirming a matter.
