There have been multiple efforts to create accurate calenders. The
Roman Calender, the Julius Caesar "Julian Calender" attempt to correct
it, and the Gregorian effort to fix the Julian. One problem with setting
calenders is that one must know the exact measure of time that it takes
for the moon to orbit for measuring a month and also the exact time for
measuring the earth's solar orbits to set exact years. Errors of just a fraction of a
second eventually add up to large errors over hundreds and thousands of
years.
Amazingly, the Hebrew calender of Moses, has never needed to be
adjusted. Moses calender set a lunar month at 29.530589 days , the exact
time that it we now know is accurate to the exact second for a lunar orbit.
How could Moses' calender, a man who was without any accurate time
measuring device, be so accurate that 3,500 years later, his calender is
still without need for"adjustment?". There have been 41,000 lunar-moon
orbits since Moses calender was set......an exact, accurate, calender
certainly given by God to Moses. Moses could never have calculated the
time of a lunar orbit with such precision.
Compare the Calender of Julius Caesar. By the year 1582 it had wandered
so far that Pope Gregory removed ten days from October and Tuesday
October 4th was followed the next day by Friday October 16th. Yet the
Hebrew calender, a lunar -Solar combination, is accurate today.
Here is an interesting footnote to Moses calender. The Hebrew
measure for an hour is divided into "halokim" parts. There are 1080
halokims to an hour. The exact lunar orbit time measure is 29 days 12
hours , 44 minutes, and 793 halokims. 793 out of 1080 halokims.... 793 is the English
value for Barack H. Obama.....Why 793 ? What does it mean ?
