Michelle, I am pondering RE the year 2000 / 5760 (thanks for your letter – amazing # 5760 !!! Look at this e.g.… In
Jewish law, the number 5760 represents purity. Thus, one of the
kabbalistic writings (Chesed L'Avraham, written around 200 years ago)
saw 5760 as the year in which G-d will "remove the spirit of impurity
from the land." (Zecharia13:2))
It seems … the obvious fact of the year 5760 / 2000 … was that the so called ‘Oslo Peace Accord’ actually did stop !!!…
…In 2000 / 5760 by ‘a hairbreadth’ there would be a dramatic agreement… >>> the Palestinians were offered the Temple Mount at the Camp David Summit in 2000, but the agreement fell through over a sliver of land near the Western Wall…. ….Arafat agreed to leave Israel with control over the Western Wall, as well as over the Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, but insisted on keeping 16 meters, or 50 feet, of land leading up to an entrance to the Western Wall tunnels under Palestinian control.
… However, Clinton said, no agreement was reached under his aegis because although Israel, under Barak, agreed to give up 96 percent of the West Bank, the Palestinians, under Arafat, “never said yes.”
