"Pastor Bob and Gino, a rider named death."

Pastor Bob,
I enjoy reading your letters, and agree with large parts of them. My main line of disagreement with you comes regarding the Pre-tribulation rapture. I Believe in a Pre-final week rapture. Let me explain this first of all, by saying I am totally in agreement with you on there being a final week for Israel. I believe that the church will be raptured prior to this final week. What I disagree with you on is the traditional interpretation of how the events of revelation fit into this final week. In saying this, I will appear as a "Mid trib" rapture supporter, which in a sense is true. Though they will lump all of the events of revelation into that final seven years as well, and say the rapture is somewhere in the midst of the final week.

I will make the following statement, with the understanding that you will do the research on this in the Spirit, and perhaps you will see what I am saying. It is my theory, that the Abomination of desolation IS the Covenant with many, and the covenant with death. This event occurs at the beginning of that final week, and will begin shortly before the rapture of the church. The abomination is an event that lasts for a "time, times and half a time".

For supporting scriptures to this, read Matthew 24:15ff, 2 Thess. 2, Daniel 9:24ff, Luke 21:20ff, and especially Daniel 12:7. Pay especially close attention to the time of the "shattering of the holy People", and when it comes to an end and compare this to Dan. 9:27, and the fact that sacrifices are ended for that first half of the week, as opposed to the AC stopping the sacrifice at the middle of the week. Please, do not discount the importance of all of these scriptures in arriving at this theory.

I think that both the mid-trib, and the pre-trib camps are right in many ways, and are both wrong in this understanding of when the abomination of desolation occurs. In relation to this final week.

One of the biggest critiques of my theory regards the temple being built, and the man of lawlessness standing therein. But if one does some research, all that is needed is the "tabernacle of David", which is a tent, which already exists in Israel. (Yet to be consecrated)
