Enoch was born on Pentecost and he was also taken to heaven on Pentecost. Enoch was a foreshadow of the Church being born on the Feast of Pentecost and the Raptured Bride of Christ being taken to heaven on the Feast of Pentecost. Enoch was snatched up in a whirlwind. Elijah also went up to heaven in a whirlwind, while Elisha was left behind and tore his clothes. This is an illustration of how the Bride of Christ will be taken, while those Christians who are left behind will tear their clothes, which is a symbol of repentance, and go out with a double portion of anointing from the Lord to reach the lost during the 1260 day Great Tribulation. In the 20 verses leading up to Elijah being taken to heaven in 2 Kings, the number FIFTY is written EIGHT TIMES. The word Pentecost means FIFTIETH DAY. Psalm 19: "In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber"... The Bridegroom and the Bride come out of the wedding chamber on the 7th day of the wedding...Joel 2 is a description of the Day of the Lord, the Rapture, and the "alien invasion" of locusts. The sun is darkened and moon turned to blood BEFORE this day. Peter quotes from Joel 2 on Pentecost. The Bridegroom and the Bride did not leave their chamber until the 7th day of the wedding. Joel 2 - "Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber." Joel 2 is giving us a very important clue here...to look for the 7th day of the wedding, after the sun is darkened and moon turns to blood, and Peter points us to the fulfillment of this Scripture on Pentecost, which just happens to be day 7 of the wedding! Genesis 5 tells us that when Enoch had lived 65 years, he began to walk faithfully with God. Isaiah 7 tells us that Damascus will be broken and shattered within 65 years. Israel celebrates its 65th birthday as a nation on May 14, 2013. These verses all point us to the Rapture and destruction of Damascus on the Feast of Pentecost in 2013. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband..."Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." We are the Spiritual Body (Temple) of Christ. Herod's Temple was 46 years in the building of the natural temple. John 2:20-21 - The Jews replied, "It has taken 46 years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 46 years from when Israel recaptured Jerusalem ended on May 8/9, 2013, Jerusalem Day. Hebrews 12: But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. Jerusalem Day, 28 Iyyar 5727 (June 7, 1967) plus 46 Jewish Years = May 8/9, 2013, 28 Iyyar. This day represents the first day of the wedding. On the 7th day of the wedding, the veil is removed and the Bride of Christ is revealed to the world and we see the Lord face-to-face.
