This is my
PERSONAL hope and wish.....I'm not sure how much
analytical sense it makes.....but here's hoping:
My best friend and next door neighbor, died on April
23.....about 13 days ago when this posts. I had
mentioned him in some posts over the past year, as he dealt
with acute leukemia, starting in April 2012. After 12
long, hard months.....it eventually took his life.
Just age 50.... Mark was a strong Christian and knew Jesus
Christ as his Lord and Savior...NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!
So, after TWO bone marrow transplants.......I guess the
last month was just horrible. And now....we KNOW
he IS in a better place.
Here's my rationale....and hope about a Rapture on May
9th, Ascension Day this week.
First......Jim Bramlett posted on May 2 "Rapture on
Ascension Day, May 9th, by Corey Fields"
I even Emailed Jim and asked him "what do you do when
people who are so adamant about a date.....are
wrong?" In other words....while I didn't
necessarily buy into this date, it DID catch my eye.
Second...so today, Saturday, was Mark's Celebration of
Life Service at our church. Mark and I had talked
about the nearness of the Rapture over the past few years,
even before he got sick.
IT WAS MY HOPE.......once he got so sick, that the
Rapture could come, to take away his pain and
suffering....as well as the same for his wife and
family.....that we could all just "escape" this world
together. Well, that didn't happen.....
Anyway.....as I'm sitting there in this memorial service
this afternoon............listening to the FAITH he had all
through his ordeal, NO MATTER HOW it would end....faith in
God's plan, no matter what.....
Third: Early in Mark's illness, last May.....Mark
had "carded" twice....and had a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE BOTH
times.....
He told me.....BOTH times, a voice said "you have to go
back....it is NOT your time." The second time, the
voice said "I told you...it is NOT your time yet....."
WHOA!!
So.......13 days ago.....it was, at long last...HIS TIME
NOW?? Apparently........
During the service today.....IT HIT ME. (More
HOPE...than anything else........)
FOURTH: WHAT IF....... Mark's "TIME" was
to be JUST BEFORE THE RAPTURE...for whatever reason?
And.....WHAT IF........the "Dead in Christ" DO Rise
FIRST....and then 'hang around' for a few days as the FINAL
SIGN TO THE WORLD just before the Rapture (I posted the
Powerpoint I did on this a few months ago.....I always
thought this 'Might" be a possibility... ???)
Also....I've always thought the Rapture could/should
happen on or during a Jewish Holiday. Granted
Ascension Day is NOT a Jewish Holiday......but IS part
of the "chain of events"during the spring Jewish
Feasts...... I had always seen Rosh Hashanah as a "better
fit" but.....anyway......
And.......
FIFTH: KEEP IN MIND..I'm the guy that has ALWAYS
thought, and posted along the way, that I THOUGHT the
Rapture COULD be in Jewish Year 5773..... which is
NOW......and it ends soon in early September.
I'm the guy who has thought and posted for 4 years now that
the DOW drop on Rosh Hashanah 2008....of 777.68 might
"points" directly to Rosh Hashanah 2012...the START of
Jewish Year 5773....as "the year" of the Rapture.
??? (I know....I originally thought it pointed
to Rosh Hashanah 2012 as "the date" of the Rapture.......but
my one and ONLY fall-back was that maybe it was pointing to
the START of the Year of the Rapture and NOT "the
day"......
So.....HERE WE ARE.
I also thought the Rapture could be tied closely to the
attack of Israel on Iran....or Iran on Israel...and THAT
seems very very close...even though there are ALOT of
articles saying Israel will wait AND that Israel MUST ACT
SOON.....so, who knows. It could ALL be imminent as
well! Especially, with EVERYONE crying
"Peace and Safety" in the MIddle east !!!
So, what do we have here?? Besides ALOT of
hopefullness???
1) Jim Bramlett's post about Ascension Day, May 9th this
week being "the day" of the Rapture
2) I am still hopefull that my analysis of the DOW drop
on Rosh, 2008....pointed to Jewish Year 5773, (this year,
right now) as "the year" of the Rapture.
and
3) That my friend's passing 13 days ago, somehow....ties
into all of this..that IF the Dead in Christ DO Rise First
and hang around for a few days (until Pentecost??)
OR at the very least, would allow him to very very
quickly see his family again, so soon......
Again....this may be more HOPE, than real
insight.......but if the Rapture IS on Ascension Day this
week, May 9th..... it would be OK with
ME!!

PS...... Life has been steadily improving over the last
year......income, cash flow, etc....and some really great
trips/vacations..... BUT.....I STILL TELL THE
LORD...."Lord, I would trade IT ALL.....to see the Rapture
happen SOON!"
I would trade it ALL!!
Let's face it..I've said it before..... the
RAPTURE......the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of
God......those 7 years and THEN the Return of Jesus Chirst
with HIs Saints......and the start of the Milenium
Kingdom..... THAT....IS.....the NEXT
GREAT ADVENTURE....more than ANYTHING THIS LIFE can
offer......
COME LORD JESUS......
OH, COULD IT BE THIS WEEK??? May 9th.....Ascension
Day?????
If not.....and we get to Rosh Hashanah 2013....in early
September....I will do a Post titled: I was WRONG,
WRONG, WRONG.....and I will be OUT of ideas.....
