The bull market in stocks has another five to six years left with the possibility of 8 to 10 percent annual growth, Larry Fink, chairman and CEO of investment firm BlackRock (BLK), told CNBC on Wednesday.
Doing the math at the high end of Fink's projections, the Dow Jones industrial average (Dow Jones Global Indexes: .DJI) would be at more than 28,000 in 2019.
In the near term, corporate earnings have pretty much kept pace with the recent stock market rally, he said in a " Squawk Box " interview.
"The S&P [500] (^GSPC) is around 15½, 16 times earnings," he added. "There's no question in my mind that equities remain ... fairly cheap."

My comments......
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................I still have a copy of a book from 1999 titled "DOW 35,000"

Article about the book:  Quote:  June 1998....  re: Harry Dent's Book.

Back in 1988, the stock market (as measured by the Dow Jones Industrial Average) opened the year at post-crash levels around 1900 and crept up to nearly 2200 by year-end. Ten years later, with the Dow over 9000, the market has more than quadrupled. Can the Dow post another quadruple in the next decade?Yes, says Harry S. Dent, a consultant and economic forecaster from Moss Beach, Calif. 'I'm now forecasting the Dow to hit 35,000 by 2008,' he says. 'We are about to witness the most exciting boom period since the 1920s.'
The Dow at 35,000? Astonishing as that forecast may seem, Dent's past performance gives him credibility. In 1993, he published The Great Boom Ahead, a book that accurately predicted the surge in stocks. Thus, his market forecasts and the other observations in his new book, The Roaring 2000s (Simon & Schuster, $25), can't be shrugged off.

My comment:  Hmmmmmm.......Harry's credibility is CRAP these days.  Not only did he NOT get the DOW 35000 right....  he's NOW been calling for a CRASH of the US Stock Market since around 2010.

So......WRONG on the UP....and WRONG on the DOWN......you can't get much WORSE than that!! LOL...

BUT.....NO ONE remembers such flagrant MISSED prognostications.

BUT....YOu just GOTTA KNOW.....predictions of DOW 28,000 are LUDICROUS!!  And yet, this prediction came from a very credible guy at Black Rock.

So.....I'll bet NONE of these guys is figuring in the RAPTURE?

TICK TOCK.........none-too-soon!!
YFIC,
Randy
