I was just reading a page, John Tng (2 Dec 2008) "Is the Man of Sin Revealed?"

 

That one part that adds up to 1998, 666 + 666 + 666, I decided to look up events that happened in 1998. This is what I found.

 

August 7, 1998- Terrorists bomb the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killing 212.

This occurred 3 days after Obama's 37th birthday, Check wikipedia "1998 United States embassy bombings" to learn more. Another source says 229 were killed. wikipedia says 223, wikipedia says  In Nairobi, approximately 212 people were killed, in Dar es Salaam, the attack killed at least 11. 

Prosecutor Kenneth Starr pursues President Bill Clinton for alleged lying about extra-marital affairs.

United States and Britain bomb Iraq (Operation Desert Fox)

The Good Friday Agreement is endorsed by separate referenda in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Apple introduces the iMac.

Microsoft introduces Windows 98.

North Korea launches its first satellite.

Google is first established.

Tony Blair is the first British Prime Minster to address Ireland's parliament.

Washington National Airport is renamed Ronald Reagan National Airport.

Compaq Computer acquires Digital Equipment Corporation for $9 billion.

Titanic is the first movie to gross over $1 billion.

The first module of the International Space Station is launched.
