"April (22 May 2013)--"question after months of reading""

Hello, John and Doves,

April, you as a mom have surely heard of this axiom, "A child only knows that it needs."

Maybe that is what Jesus had in mind.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14  NIV

In case I have been off base, perhaps this site will help:

"question after months of reading"

Hi John,

It has been a blessing to read and learn through the fivedoves.com site, and I thank you as your Christian sister for your work.  I found your site after God got hold of me in a renewed, powerful way in March 2013 when I recognized there were a whole bunch of things happening that seemed to line up with the Bible that I love - though have not made proper study of.  I was afraid in a way because I was "saved" as a child when I was seven years old during a revival week at my church.  Let's just say that I gained my head knowledge at that time but gained my heart and further mental knowledge of Jesus over the next several years of pressures and temptations as a teenager and then watching my Mom and her sister both suffer and die from cancer.

God grew and grew me through all that and enforced in me that he used those experiences in my life for good thought they heard so deeply...Though I love Jesus and have had times that I was very close to what I desire in my walk with him, distractions of work, family, getting married carried me further away than desired.  Further, the devil used that time that I was not walking as close to make me question my salvation though I was not running away from God by any means.  I am thankful that when the Holy Spirit moved me to search out answers for the doubts and worries that Satan was hurling at me, that this site was available to help with many of my questions based on many viewpoints from many postings.

Now, I am a Mother taking my two little girls to church, and this my seem like a dumb questions, but what will happen to children at rapture time according top what you have learned?  I want to believe that because they are below the "age of accountability" that they will be taken up with no question.  However, I have a worry as a Mother here - is this assumption true?  Can you point me in a direction on this?  Maybe I am just being coerced by the devil, but I need to talk about it with other Christians to help.

Thank you again for your work here.  You are a blessing.

Sincerely,

April
