"Eaglet (21 May 2013) "Ms. Marylyn Agee: re May 4 Letter": there will be no marriage in heaven"

From Marilyn Agee
Hi Eaglet:

> there will be no marriage in heaven, we will all be like the angels.

That is exactly what I was worried about.

I read the scriptures below, but Ed and I were married here. We were already "one flesh." We were together 65 years without a fight. I could not be happy without him.

Long ago, the Lord answered Ed's prayer for a Christian wife. He chose me, and had to work some miracles to get this Indiana girl and Tennessee boy together.

My dad had to get transferred from Vigo Ordinance in Terre Haute, IN, to Safety Engineer at Holston Ordinance Works in Kingsport, TN. Then, he had to get my dad to move his family to Staff Quarters on HOW four miles out of town. Next, he had to get Ed home from Japan. He had set up the first Army Commissary in Japan after the war. The Lord had to get Ed's stepfather a job at HOW. Then, just before Ed's ship arrived at the US, God had to get Ed's family to move out of Kingsport to the Staff Quarters at HOW. After Ed got home, the Lord had to keep Ed alive in his month-long battle with poison ivy. He had been in the army hospital twice, 28 days with poison ivy and 30 days with poison oak. He went to a party where they burned wood that had poison ivy on it. Ed woke up the next morning with poison ivy all over him. They had to poke holes between his lips to get a straw in. He is more allergic to those plants than most doctors have ever seen. The army doctor had told him not to get it any more, that he might die. It gave him a fast heart, but in spite of scaring his mother that he was dying, he lived through it.

A little later, God had to stop me going with the boy I was dating, and Ed had to quit a job he had gotten in town. He had made up his mind to go to college rather than work for very little where they seldom gave raises. He took the GED test so he would not have to go back to High School, got enrolled in college at UT, Knoxville, and asked me to double-date with him, his brother, and my best girlfriend. On the day before the 4th of July, the 4 of us went to the carnival on Wednesday. By Saturday, Ed said, "Will you marry me?." I said, "Yes." Whether God did it, or it would have happened naturally, I don't know, but our love for each other is so strong, the Lord may have done it in answer to Ed's prayer for a Christian wife. I could never be happy in heaven if we were not together. I told him before he died that I loved him so much I wanted to be with him forever, and both God and Ed know that is the truth.

Now for the shocker! after being bedfast for a long time after a bout with pneumonia, Ed died at 87 on Dec. 27, 2011. He had picked up 2 other infections from the hospital, staff and C-dif. I had pneumonia too, but I got sent to a different hospital. I didn't pick up anything else, but have fibrosis of the lungs, and was able to get back on my feet, probably because I am 4.5 years younger than Ed.

On April 2, 2012, he came to see me. Yes! the real Ed, in his real celestial body!

I had just gotten up from the computer, laid down on the bed, and had propped my head up to watch TV, but I hadn't turned it on yet. In strode Ed at a fast clip. He was young looking, had his dark brown hair back, was dressed in what looked like a black silk suit made out of thin shirt material, and had an ear to ear grin on his face. I recognized him instantly. He came up between the dresser and bed and stood near my head.

I said, "How old are you, 30 or 33?" In his own natural voice, he said, "33."
I said, "Can we be together forever?" He said, "Yes."
I said, "Are there female angels in Heaven?" He said, "Yes."
I said, "Have you gotten with your family? He said, "Yes."
I said, "Have you gotten with my family? He said, "Yes."
I said, "Do you have a piano? He said, "Yes" and walked through the wall.

Now, I know what the celestial body is like, and I know that we can be together forever. We don't need to get married in Heaven. We are already married. We are already "one flesh."

Gen_2:24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be ONE FLESH."

Mat_19:5,6 says, "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be ONE FLESH?" 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but ONE FLESH. WHAT THEREFORE GOD HATH JOINED TOGETHER, LET NOT MAN PUT ASUNDER."

Eph_5:31  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be ONE FLESH."

Mat_22:30  "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."

Mar_10:8  And they twain shall be ONE FLESH: so then they are no more twain, but ONE FLESH."

Mar_12:25 " For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven."

Can Scripture disagree with Scripture? No! We are one flesh, and we will be together forever.

I am happy with how my life is turning out. I said, "Yes" to Jesus and "Yes" to Ed. Now, I get to be with both of them forever. What could be better?

It is hard to do without him now, but this will seem like a short time when compared with forever, and I know he is ok. Although he was 4.5 years older than me here, in Heaven, we will both be 33.

> God doesn't want another rebellion in His kingdom, if our loved ones > will come between us and God. He doesn't want us to have our idols > there.

Ed prayed for a Christian wife. He encouraged me at every step of the way. He bought me an electric typewriter. Later, he bought me several computers. He enrolled me on the Internet the very day I finished my third book. He would never come between me and God.

I would never rebel against Jesus/God. I love him too much for anything like that. Ed is the same way. We are totally on the Lord's side.

> we will all be like the angels. and i guess gender will not be a reality > there.

Angels are in the masculine gender in the Bible. That is why I asked Ed if there were female angels in Heaven. I thought there would be, but R.B. Thieme thought that they were all masculine. I thought, "Why make any angels masculine if there were none that were feminine." Now, I know that just as God made mankind male and female, he made angels male and female. He made animals male and female too.

Dear Marylyn,

I'm sorry to know that you had this belief about having the hope of being with our loved ones someday when we all get to heaven. Please read about Jesus's teaching about the Marriage at the resurrection. Jesus telling us that there will be no marriage in heaven, we will all be like the angels. and i guess gender will not be a reality there. I believe that the only marriage that will happen in heaven is the Marriage of The Lamb and the Bride. I guess when we get to see the Lord face to face we will see His Glory and Majesty in awe and wonder, and we will not be mindful anymore of wanting to see our loved ones there, and we will long to be with the Lord than to be with our loved ones. God doesn't want another rebellion in His kingdom, if our loved ones will come between us and God. He doesn't want us to have our idols there.

YBIC,

Eaglet
