Yes, I was thinking in that way.  However, after I typed that I realized that a couple of years ago I actually postulated on a birth date of Christ.  Uh Oh!  So I went back to my notes which had re-emerged only a week ago and there it was.  I based my thoughts on the “Bethlehem Star” video which uses astronomical observations.  This was the beginning of my next posting, on Tuesday? "Reversing John 3:16".

 

I know that Marilyn A has a very thorough study on this which differs, but the man doing the video explains there is a three year offset due to a transcribing error of the date of the death of Herod (?), I think.

 

So in the end, the joke is kind of on me.
