"RE: April: 05.22.13"

April,

             You had written:

I was "saved" as a child when I was seven years old during a revival week at my church

and also:

Now, I am a Mother taking my two little girls to church, and this my seem like a dumb questions, but what will happen to children at rapture time according top what you have learned?  I want to believe that because they are below the "age of accountability" that they will be taken up with no question.  However, I have a worry as a Mother here - is this assumption true?

When I read those words, I immediately thought of the letter that Frank Molver had written regarding our families:

If you were saved as a child, then why not them?

Yes, a lot of stuff came against you over many years following that, and according to what you wrote, you went away from him.

However, Jesus sees the end from the beginning, all along he saw you for what you would be, not for what you were at each battle and stumble.

No doubt you probably would not be as deep and as committed a Christian today, had you not gone through all the things that you went through.

Every time we fail & cry out to him, and he picks us back up, he gets the glory for his mercy and grace, and we get to learn so much.

The same would be true for your children once they’re saved.

As I’m sure you already are, pray daily for their salvation, until they are saved, then pray daily for their relationship with Jesus.
