"RE: Frank Molver: 05.22.13: family salvation"

Frank,

             You had written:

I hope what you are writing is true

It would be a great relief to many of us

I think that it is an area we can not be complacent on though

Makes a big difference in whether you pray and interact with your family or not

Too much time on other stuff, no matter how important, can be detrimental to the condition of the family

Examples would be King David and even Samuel the prophet

I think we could avoid a lot of sorrow by learning from them

That was so pertinent. I look back and see how I didn’t learn from them.

Although I was busy in the work of the LORD, I didn’t balance it with proper time with my son.

Too late I realized that spending time with my son was just as much the work of the LORD.

An example, when he was young, he wanted a fishing pole.

I bought him a nice rod and reel.

Sometime later I found the rod broken in two, in the garage.

I now realize that it wasn’t the rod and reel that he really wanted.

He wanted his dad to spend time with him.

I’m convinced that I may very well have to face that fishing pole one more time, at the judgment seat of Christ, to give an account of it.
