Jean,
That was very eye-opening!
You helped me now realize, that when people sigh over the falling of America, why they ask, “How bad can it get?”
Now I can safely tell them that it can get as bad as Noah’s days before the flood, or Lot’s days in Sodom.
Also, you caused me to meditate about countless people all drowning to death at the same time.
You also caused me to mediate about thousands of people all burning to death at the same time.
However, we can bring the gospel to people, so that they don’t have to “drown” in perdition or burn eternally in the lake of fire.
Jesus doesn’t want people to die in the judgments of the Great Tribulation, and he certainly doesn’t want people to go to the lake of fire.
Hopefully I’m a better witness to my neighbors than Lot was to his.
I cannot fathom the disappointment that Lot felt about himself, later on.
However, I don’t have to repeat his mistake, but how much like Lot am I really?
