Paul, You bring up an interesting point. I was raised Catholic (before I was saved), and was always warned about saying, "Oh my God" or "God damn", as taking the name of the LORD in vain. Your point about "God" not being his name is correct. I was wondering, when someone prays in Jesus' name, when they are not saved, is that taking the name of the LORD in vain? Or what about those of us that are saved, how often do we actually take the name of Jesus in vain? Even if I'm witnessing, teaching, or preaching, about Jesus, but I do it in the flesh, I'm still taking his name in vain. What do you think? Is that possible? Gino
