greetings from germany friedrich

Randy, thank you so much for your letter and sharing your hope!

I marveled when I read about your “best friend …Mark” …

Last week Wednesday night our son Mark (23), he did slip and fall and had a fracture of the jaw. But we thank the Lord that this accident was not even more bad.

However Mark almost was desperate. He had to wait for surgery 4 long days.  Just on Saturday (the day you also mentioned, Randy) in the evening Mark told (even he could hardly speak) what happened when he was almost hopeless this Saturday afternoon… all at once he heard the Church bells ringing. (At our local (protestant) church that day was ‘confirmation’) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation

Same moment Mark ‘found’ his confirmation document from his confirmation feast years ago. Mark said: I saw the date which was May 9, 2004. Mark said with deep motion, this was 9 years ago, my confirmation date was May 9, … And with shining eyes Mark added, you know, this year May 9, is Ascension Day!, and my confirmation motto was from Psalm 103: Bless the Lord, o my soul… and forget not all his benefits…, who healeth all thy diseases!

Well, Mark has great hope, he hopes in the Lord… yes HE can provide a miracle! The Lord will grant us His Grace. Thank you Lord Jesus. Mark is thankful for prayers.

We really need miracles. Mark is gardener. Much work in our flower garden. Right now we are in deep valleys… However the Lord is our Shepherd.

We cannot anymore sell much of our “spring” flowers because now it is too late… this is very sad… we have to throw away thousands (more than 100,000) of beautiful spring pansies and primroses… spring season was very very late and short and now is over… people are asking already for “summer” plants. The winter here in central Europe was unusual long and bad weather … People could not plant and did not buy. A “once in a lifetime” bad and long winter. Old gardeners cannot remember such strange situation!

P.S. today May 7, would be my Dad’s 88th birthday: few weeks before he passed away in Oct 2010, he said, by all means we have to pray and believe that the Lord will and shall come again… In around 2008 he had a ‘vision’.. next morning he told very excited what he ‘saw’, so real, even more real than a movie, he said, …He heard the trumpet, and at the graveyard the door opened, and graves opened… he heard the word “exanastasis!” He ‘saw’ “The dead in Christ rise first…” ! (1 Thess 4, 16)

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus.
