“…the Orthodox churches with which we are familiar celebrate Pascha Resurrection Day on May 5 this year.  Next Sunday.
The date of the Western Church celebrating Ascension Day is May 9. …”

Well and on May 8, this year is “Yom Yerushalayim”

Yom Yerushalayim is an Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in June 1967. The Chief Rabbinate of Israel declared Jerusalem Day a minor religious holiday to thank God for victory in the Six-Day War and for answering the 2,000-year-old prayer of "Next Year in Jerusalem".

…and on May 19, Western Church is celebrating Pentecost! – just two weeks after May 5.

…and on Sunday May 12, 2013, Second Sunday of May, in many countries of the world is Mother’s Day… - just one week after May 5!

I know some saints who say: Mother’s Day could also be a hint to ‘The Mother - Mary’, or ‘His Church’ … hmm… interesting…

Remember one week after His glorious resurrection …then almost 2000 years ago… again the Lord …came … the doors being shut… and stood in the midst… and said.. Peace be unto you…

Joh 20:19

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Joh 20:20

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

Joh 20:21

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Joh 20:22

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Joh 20:23

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Joh 20:24

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

Joh 20:25

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

Joh 20:26

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Joh 20:27

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Joh 20:28

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Joh 20:29

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Maranatha! Let us keep on… by our Lord’s Grace… soon the doors will be shut…. We will gather together… and the Lord will be in the midst!

So be it Lord … Come quickly Lord Jesus

Maranatha

Come Lord Jesus

P.S.

RE ‘maydays’

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayday

…we have a flower garden and we are right now in deep valleys… However the Lord is our Shepherd.

We cannot anymore sell much of our “spring” flowers because now it is too late… this is very sad… we have to throw away thousands of beautiful spring pansies and primroses… spring season was very very late and short and now is over… people are asking already for “summer” plants. The winter here in central Europe was unusual long and bad weather … People could not plant and did not buy. A “once in a lifetime” bad and long winter.

And now just last night our son Mark (23) did slip and fall and had a fracture of the jaw. But we thank the Lord that this was not even more bad.

The Lord will grant us His Grace. Thank you Lord Jesus.

RE ‘5’ 5 = Grace… hmm… 5doves … spirit5 ….

Thank you John, keep on… keep on fivedoves… and saints waiting for His Coming… soon we’ll have a ‘gathering’… and the Lord will be in the midst!
