I had a couple situations recently that reminded me of this

Perhaps this is just a reminder to get our eyes of individuals

I have noted several Christians around that definitely have anointing in music and other areas of ministry.

Yet, stuff happens and unwise decisions are made.

 

I read recently about Benny Hin asking for 2.1 million to bale him out of a financial bind

I have heard good and bad things about him and his life style.

Yet I can not deny the personal reports from people I know that have experienced some powerful things at his meetings.

 

 Samuel, who was dedicated as a boy and become one of Israels first powerful prophets had his problems.

Though he replaced the slack  priest Eli and his 2 rebellious priest sons, the same thing happened to his 2 sons at the end of his career.

 

Then we have Saul, he is anointed for a brief time, and soon fails.

Next David, a man after God's own heart, so many failures, though he stays true to God.

 

So what am I saying?

I guess we have to have a little slack when it comes to others and ourselves. Otherwise we might end up all alone and discouraged.
