I am of the opinion that many prophecies have multiple fulfillments in many different ways. One fulfillment in particular would be Daniel 9’s 70 weeks Restore Jerusalem prophecy in relation to the Muslim Brotherhood.On May 1, 2012, Egyptian cleric Safwat Higazi called for a march on Jerusalem, wanting to make Jerusalem the capital of the Muslim Brotherhood – symbolically, they are calling for the restoration of Jerusalem to themselves. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/insideisrael/2012/May/Egyptian-Cleric-Jerusalem-is-Our-Capital/25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One,[f] the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.[g] The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’[h] In the middle of the ‘seven’[i] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[j] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.[k]”[l]
If we take 70 literal weeks, we get a “mini-tribulation” of 7 weeks from the end of the 62 weeks/ start of 63 weeks through the end of the 69th week. In other words, the end of the 62nd week from the going forth of the Muslim Brotherhood’s commandment to restore Jerusalem to them, is July 8, 2013. The conclusion of the Psalm 83 war would apparently be 7 weeks later on Aug. 26, 2013.If this is correct, then this would create the prerequisite “land of unwalled villages that are dwelling peacefully” needed for the 1st Gog war to go forward, the peace treaty of which would start the 7 year tribulation.This peace treaty should occur on April 21, 2014. (April 14, 2014 would form the 69th week, and the 21st would end the 70th week. In a similar vein to the 1st part of this post, the end of the 62nd week, Feb. 24, 2014 should see a major city, NYC?, attacked. Add a Jubilee cycle plus a halved cycle (49 plus 24.5 years = 73.5 years) (Dan 9's "breaking the covenant in the middle of the "heptad"/ shabuwa/ heptad of a heptad) to the commandment to create Israel, Nov. 29, 1947 to get the same date as above, May 29, 2021. Add 40 Jubilee cycles and a half (1960 + 24.5= 1984.5 years) to Christ's crucifixion, April 3, 33 to get Oct. 3, 2017.
