Gino, and Frank.Thank You for the replies and your time. They are a great help in my studies.Regarding the Link, Gino your post was very informative. Encountering these people, they deny that Jesus is fully God. They use the Language of "Son of God" to mean that Jesus is less than God the Father, which opens the door to all kinds of heresy. Their whole argument is based on the assumption that the trinity is a Roman Catholic doctrine, and therefore false. Even when faced with the facts that Tertullian came up with the term trinity some 100+ years before the Roman Catholic church came into existence. They feed off of this hatred, and reactionary disgust for the catholic church. The other reason I bring this up, is because of what this sort of thought leads to, which is the elevation of man to the status of gods. Which leads me to 2 thess. 2:4 regarding the man of lawlessness declaring himself God. This notion is also found in Mormonism, which makes these religions similar.Frank,My question regarding the Laodicean church and the bride, was to suggest that the Parable of the ten Virgins may only have to do with the Laodicean church. Many have equated the five wise virgins with the Philadelphia church, and the five foolish virgins with the Laodicean church. Please see my other post to John B., and Garry B.As well as what Terri Hill wrote:I am unsure exactly where I am headed on this. When I do studies like this, The Lord leads me on a tangent that I do not plan on, to reveal a truth that I was missing in my understanding. It is just how he works with me. Its like when you misplace your keys, and in the process of looking for your keys you find other things that have gone missing. I think it is His way of speaking to me on a personal level.God blessDavid H.
