"John B, Garry B. I like the way your thinking./ two flee worthy events."

John B, and Garry B.

I Like the way you are thinking.

I would like to address something which I have found, which have been often linked, which should not be. I Posted the passages from Luke in red below, and from Matthew in Green for your reference.

Luke 17: 31 describes a time of "fleeing", and the Language of this verse is almost Identical to Matthew 24:17-18.

But if one looks closely, One "fleeing" involves Judea (Matthew 24:16)
While the other "fleeing" occurs when the "Son of Man is revealed" (Luke 17:30) Which would correlate to the events found in Matthew 24: 37-38, as per Luke 17:26.

What this means, is that there are two different times of "fleeing". One occurs When the Abomination of Desolation takes place which is regional to Judea, and in particular Jerusalem, while the other is worldwide which involves the warning found in Luke 17:32-33 and occurs at the coming of the Son of Man, which involves rapture, and wrath. A time of "peace and safety". (see note below first passage)

20 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, 21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”[h]
22 And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you, ‘Look, there!’ or ‘Look, here!’ Do not go out or follow them. 24 For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.[i] 25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. 34 I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. 35 There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.”[j] 37 And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the corpse[k] is, there the vultures[l] will gather.” Note the highlighted events. These are everyday normal acts, Hence my connection to "peace and safety" as found in 1 Thess. 5:3-4 " While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief."

15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!

36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son,[b] but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. 42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

It is these sorts of connections which will unseal the order of the events of these end times. What I have not yet determined for certain, is whether the final seven years for Israel follows the time of Peace and safety, or precedes it? I am leaning towards the time of Peace and safety coming after the final seven years for Israel? Any thoughts would be helpful here?
