"Proverbs 28:1 & 1656"

Readers -

About a year or more ago, I started praying for the Christians in the notorious North Korean prison camps. VOM (Voice of the Martyrs) had a map of the camps, all numbered.

While praying, The Lord made this verse clearly appear in my spirit, and the directive that I was to pray this verse specifically for the Christian prisoners in the camps.

Proverbs 28:1
"The wicked flees when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Honestly, I thought the verse unusual to be praying for this need, but saw the sense of it as I went along, and I still pray it every time.

That being said, the verse is still speaking, though differently.

The total verse gematria for that verse is 1656, the year of Noah's flood. This really surprised me when I was searching for verses with that total. I suppose it is the Lord's way of confirming His Word to me, as 1656 is an important Bible number.
