Dearest Marie,

My heart is breaking for you as I write this post.  I am so happy that your surgery was successful but the loss of beautiful Leo must be just devastating to you!!!!!  My goodness!  He was only seven years old. 

I lost the best dog I ever had at only 4 years old of an undiagnosed heart condition in 2008.  I know exactly what you are going through right now.
For at least the first four weeks, I can't even remember how I functioned or what I was doing.  I have a memorial built to this wonderful dog in my back yard and there isn't a single day that goes by that I don't think of him.

Please know that I'm praying for your emotional healing.  Your Leo and my Tigger are probably romping and playing at Rainbow Bridge while they wait for us to join them.
