"Re: April and children in rapture"

Greetings John and Doves,
Hi April, I want to thank you for your letter as I have wanted to post on this subject many times but have not because it is such a hard word and I hope you read it to the end, be like the Bereans and search it out for yourself in prayer not letting feelings or traditions of men influence the reader of this. This is not a popular topic when you're on my side of the issue......Do all children under the age of accountability go in the Rapture? Most of the Church says yes and that's what we want to believe but I can't find anywhere is Scripture that supports that view. It actually supports the opposite. We find it hard to believe it because children are so innocent, and I have four children plus 9 grandchildren. We see through out the Old Testament that God commanded the destruction of everything including children as Joshua entered the Promised Land, we have the first born of Egypt, the 42 children by she bears in Second Kings 2:24, and there are more. We don't see Noah gathering all the children on the Ark, or Angels escorting children out of Sodom and Gomorrah. So you might say " that's the Old Testament" but we see in the letters to the Seven Churches the following verse:

Rev 2:23  And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

So this is why I believe that only Christians who have  children under the age of accountability will see their children go in the Rapture and the children of parents who are not saved will not go in the Rapture....let me emphasize though any children under the age of accountability that are left behind....if they would die.....they do go to Heaven.
1. When Rahab was saved...so was her family
2. When Noah was saved...so was his family
3. When Lot was saved...so was his family
4. When Joseph was saved... so was his family
 5. There are more examples, but most important for us is When we are saved....so will our family.

Act 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

This is how I see it and what motivation to spread the Gospel even more for the children. I am always seeking the Truth and I will put away my own beliefs anytime I see a new Truth that is backed up by the Scriptures so if anyone has a different view and Scripture to back it up please let me know. I can eat crow.....usually with a slice of humble pie. May the Lord Jesus Bless all who read this.
