"A Dream of the Timing
of the Rapture"
Hi Everybody,
At the very end of November, 2010, I had a short dream about the
timing of the rapture. It was one of those vivid dreams
that you cannot forget and it came to me at a desperate time in
my life when I was reaching out to God and praying as intensely
as I know how. I want to share it now with all of you
because I think the time for its fulfillment is finally about to
come to pass.
I am not a prophet and I do not have the gift of prophecy, so
use your own discernment. I am just a poor sinner who is
sorry for all of his mistakes and desperately wants to go home
in the rapture.
The dream happened at a really horrible and desperate time in my
life. My wife and I lost almost everything when the
economy collapsed, including our beautiful home and my
business. Fortunately, due to the generosity of friends,
we were able to move out of the state and stay with them.
There is a chain of restaurants that I really like, but my wife
cannot stand them. When we moved to our new temporary home there
was one of these restaurants just a few minutes away. It
reminded us of our home and now we both like to go there
whenever we can afford to.
I really didn’t want to go on living but I could not leave my
wife all alone in this world. Several times each day I
prayed to the Lord for help and to be rescued in the rapture.
My dream was, I sincerely believe, an answer to my
prayers. It was very short, but extremely intense.
The symbolism obviously applied specifically to me and said
volumes to me in two very short scenes. First, I found
myself in front of the restaurant looking at the window my wife
and I had been sitting at during one of our recent trips.
Parked in front of that window was my pickup truck. The
space it was parked in was too small. The curb was painted
red (no parking) in front of it and behind it, and even extended
past both my front and rear bumper a little bit. The next
scene was my answer to how long it would be until the
rapture. I was doing jumping jacks (a type of physical
exercise) and counting 16 . . . 17 . . . . 18 . . . 19 . .
. . 20. I stopped very abruptly at 20.
In the first scene God was saying that He and parked my wife and
I in a place that was cramped and uncomfortable but,
nevertheless, was safe. He was also saying that we would
not be there very long. The 20 jumping jacks was the
length of time until the rapture. The problem is that I
have no idea what unit of time a jumping jack represents.
At the time I thought it meant a day, but 20 days came and went
and nothing happened. I felt devastated. Then I
started to think it meant 20 weeks. Nothing happened then
either. Now I am beginning to have very strong feelings
that it meant 20 months. I know, it sounds like I am
grasping for straws here, but I sincerely have a feeling that
this time I am right. Back in November, 2010, I do not
think I could have continued on if I had known it would still be
another 20 months until the rapture.
I do not remember the exact night I had the dream so I cannot
tell you the day (much less the hour) that I think the rapture
will happen. The best I can say is that, if I am correct
and this was truly from God, the rapture will happen sometime
around July 20th.
Something that I find interesting is that my dream was
especially tailored to me. I am convinced it was real, but
there is nothing here that I can point to as proof that anybody
else would accept. This is the style that God seems to use
so often.
Something else that really got my attention was a recent posting
I read by a parent whose child had a dream about the
rapture. God told the little girl that the rapture would
be in 2013 and also told her not to reveal the month. When
her parents asked if it would be before or after her birthday,
she said it would be after, and her birthday is sometime in
July. Hum. My discernment tells me this account is
genuine. Just a gut feeling, but something makes me feel
that her vision was truly from God. If her birthday is
before the 20th of July, then it could fit with my dream.
One last thought, there are two movies being released around the
first week in June that will mock and ridicule the
rapture. I watched the trailer for one of them and was
sickened in my soul by it. I believe that God will allow
people to see these two works of blasphemy and have a good laugh
before His hand of judgment falls and He sends for the
bride. I just cannot seem to stop thinking about these two
upcoming movies. The timing seems so perfect.
