I posted this about Benjamin the other day

 

Gen 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

So Rachel (meaning ewe-female sheep) died and brought forth a son Benonini (meaning son of my sorrow) who was renamed Benjamin (son of the right hand)

Benjamin is a picture of the church-Christ the lamb died and brought forth out of His sorrows the church. Christ is in Glory at the right hand of the Father and we will share in the glory at His coming

Joseph puts the silver cup in Benjamin's saddle bag. silver cup = divination = prophetic knowledge of the future. God's prophetic future.

Joseph gives Benjamin 300 pieces of silver, plus clothes. his brothers get clothes only.

300=redemption

Silver =redemption

I curiously looked at this verse to see what the gematria of the sons of Benjamin would total

Gen 46:21 And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

Total gematria of the names of the 11 sons strongs side =2104=4 x 526

Total original side =2140    Jared the descender=214

If you look at the meaning of each name there is a hidden message in there. Just look at the last 5

Ehi=my brother

Rosh=head

Muppim=serpent

Huppim =protected

Ard=I shall subdue

Brings to mind Gen 3:15-The church is protected in Christ-Christ will bruise the head of the serpent.
