Here is how I personally view the big picture and context
of your scripture. Obviously, you will
see that I personally am not a pretrib rapture person, nor
do I believe in a 7 year tribulation period. I
personally believe scripture teaches a 3-1/2 Great
Tribulation (not wrath) – (seals and trumpets) followed by
the rapture at the 7th trumpet on some future
Feast of Trumpets, then God pours out His wrath on the
ungodly (vials) and then we return with Jesus for the
Battle of Armageddon and the Marriage Supper of the
Lamb. Obviously, I believe most of the Book of
Revelation is symbolic where most pretribbers take it
literally – i.e. 144,000 is not a bunch of male,
Jewish virgins, it is symbolic of the complete
church. As much as The Doves are into numbers, I
really surprised very few recognize that.
Enjoy and take what God gives you from this. I’m not
into a lot of highly emotional debate – some people get
very irritated if you don’t agree with their position.
