This is the way I have always suspected. I may be wrong but consider it.

 

Read Job 39:27-30.  Watchmen abide on the "Rock" and seeketh the Slain One. Jesus is the slain one upon whose flesh and blood a watchmans very eternal life depends.

Matthew 24:26 infers those looking for Christ in deserts, etc. verse 28 states that He is not there but is with the eagles or watchmen. I pray always that I will be accounted worthy to be gathered there with them.
