You Can Rise with the Christ and Go with a Glow

My favorite rapture song has not been published. In fact the only one who has sung it is me, and then only when I'm by myself. So I thought I'd share it with everyone on Five Doves, (the song lyrics, not my singing). But first some background.

You know satan is like the bird called the mockingbird who counterfeits the songs of other birds. At one time satan led all singing and praise to God as lucifer. Now he mocks the King of Kings and all those who follow Him. And while satan has wings like a bird, those wings will be broken. Or they may already be broken if he can no longer visit heaven and accuse man day and night.

In addition, satan has been associated with black birds such as the raven by Edgar Allen Poe and the crow. Are the following opening lines from the song, "Blackbird" talking about satan?

Blackbird singing in the dead of night

Take these broken wings and learn to fly, all your life

You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Remember, unlike mammals, bird bones, and therefore their wings, can't heal after being broken. Their bones are hollow and they shatter, never to mend, never to fly again.

At the same time, the words to the 70's song "Mockingbird" can be changed to more uplifting words. But lets first explain some of the word:

Don't sing: When a criminal doesn't sing, it means he doesn't tell the truth about what he knows. If a criminal sings, it means he tells the truth.

Diamond ring: Normally represents marriage to someone or something. It is something considered valuable. The suitor presents the diamond ring to his hopeful bride to be and if she accepts the ring, that represents her agreement to marry him.

Won't shine: Only that which has light from within can shine. A shine is a bright glow. Moses saw the backside of God and his face absorbed enough radiance to where it started shining. As time went on that bright glow diminished to a dim glow, till finally the glowing of his face stopped completely. In comparison, the best a diamond can do is reflect light that shines upon it from somewhere else.

Mock King: King of mock, king of fake, king of imitation, king of synthetic, king of counterfeit.

The song seems tailor made for turning into a rapture song. Which seems providential since one of the two singers is James Taylor. Here are the song lyrics as they have been changed into a rapture song:
