Hello Cinda, fellow animal lover!  I called probably a week later and they both (same owner) had been picked up.   Felt they would be as both animals were well-behaved, well-tended, and obviously much loved.  Do remember being told the other dog was a Samoyed.  The two dogs sitting behind me were big dogs so I was a bit apprehensive.  But also remember talking nonstop to them the entire time as I drove to the Humane Society...realizing I was a stranger to them, just as they were strangers to me. 

 

Imagine how wonderful the millennial reign of our soon-to-come King, Jesus Christ, will be: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."  Isaiah 11:6-9

Note:  Dogs were picked up at the cloverleaf of interstate highways 35 and 36 and taken to Humane Society at 1115 Beulah Lane in St. Paul, MN.
