"LAURIE HANE and PATTI C"

Once again, Laurie (and Patti), I must insist ever so gently that the post (and the words) you referenced were not mine.  See my previous response to you below...my apologies if the bolding and underlining come across too strong:
  • However that was not my post and never did I quote in any of my posts "judge not lest you be judged." The original poster was absolutely correct in warning doves to be aware of deception...to be "wise as serpents and as innocent as doves."  And that is why I asked John to recycle what I felt to be an important admonition.
Also, the original poster was exceedingly correct in posting the following:
  • "To those mature believers on this site who do know much more about the whole counsel of God, I encourage you to take the time and effort to biblically correct, in love, in which I also write, those who promote as "God's truth," things which are not contained in God's Word...for the sake of the Body of Christ, for the sake of the lost, and for Christ Himself."
I agree with you, Laurie and Patti, that this is a unique website for many believers.  However, from my perspective, the issue at stake was whether or not to address the ERROR OF REINCARNATION submitted by another Dove.   I choose to address the ERROR OF REINCARNATION because it is biblically misleading and normally espoused by those who align themselves with Hinduism or New Age.  (Remember, I came out of New Age.)

One of the chief unbiblical tenants of the New Age movement is the belief that all of us have probably lived before in previous human lives and that we will probably do so again.  Contradicted by the Word of God in Hebrews 9:27.   Reincarnation has been a popular belief for thousands of years, but it has never been accepted by Christians or followers of Judaism because it is contradictory to Scripture.

Blessings to you both!
