Patti, I was surprised to see that awful article on Pastor Worley posted here. We can all agree that his words were wrong and hateful just like the Phelps pastor from Florida who pickets military funerals for gays. Jesus Christ sacrificed His own life for all sinners, whether they be heterosexual or homosexual. This just gives ammunition to the left-wing media that consistently demonizes Christianity anyway.Examples of left-wing media bias:
- I remember an article posted a few years back (WorldNetDaily) regarding Frank Lombard, associate director of the Health Inequalities Program at North Carolina's Duke University's Center for Health Policy. The media played that coverage way down due to the "gay" factor but ramped up the high-profile case of Duke athletes who were wrongly accused of a rape that turns out never happened. BTW, you can google Lombard and WorldNetDaily for the sordid details if link below doesn't work. Lombard is currently serving well-deserved time in prison for his heinous acts.
- Did you read how the gay-marriage mob recently slimed boxing champion Manny Pacquiao? When Manny was asked in an interview what his views on gay marriage were in light of Obama's flip-flops, here is what he said:
- "God's words first. Obey God's law first before considering the laws of man."
The MSM (mainstream media) then lied and said he quoted Leviticus 20:13 which says homosexuals should be put to death. Various publications (funded by Soros) ran articles calling Pacquiao "homophobic" and saying he was calling for violence.
Here is his response:
- "I didn't say that, that's a lie. I didn't know that quote from Leviticus because I haven't read the Book of Leviticus yet."
