"To
Mary Anna on your dream that no one cared"
I liked that dream. I mean I like it as an
unpleasant truth about much of our life here.
I had a very pleasant dream last night...which is completely
rare for me. I dreamed that I was free!
Free of persecution, free of my imperfections, free of
condemnation of any sort. I felt great, and I
did not want to wake up, so badly I didn't want to wake up that
I slept a total of 12 hours that night!
I have not slept for twelve hours any night since I was a young
woman trying to get through college
and sometimes collapsed with utter exhaustion and slept a long
time. I felt completely free of pain,
and I lay there for some time when I woke up, not wanting to
re-enter the pain of everyday living, the
loneliness, the awareness of imperfection, the unwise opinions
of many.
Wishing for that to become our reality: freedom from what
holds us in bondage here!
