"To Jean S. My vision
of Jesus with stars on either side"
Was this standing in the middle of the
lampstands? This vision occurred on August 21, 21 years
ago this
August, at noon. I had returned from church, where I had
decided to leave that church, and I had prayed
for a revelation from the Lord. When I came home, I
reached up to pull down a blind, and there was Jesus
standing in the middle of those stars, in a bright but cloudy
typical Seattle noontime or a little after noon.
I believe there were three stars on each side of him, behind
him, visible during the daytime, but I was
not counting. He was the entire focus of my attention.
I have put this vision up here on Doves years ago, but I thought
I would do it again, because of your
discussion of the seven branched lampstand, or Menorah.
I always loved the song "Daystar" after that, as I saw the stars
during the daytime, supernaturally.
I have a menorah which my granddma bought in Rome (she was
Presbyterian but she thought it was a
nice candelabra). No candles can be found to fit it, so it
has never burned candles. It is the only possession
I have from my childhood home...it has been with me all my life,
even when other thing were stolen or destroyed
by fire or lost. It was antique when my grandma bought
it. It is not "gorgeous", just a humble copy of
the menorah which graced the Temple, which is shown on the Arch
of Titus in Rome. An exact copy of that.
Thanks, Jean, for your wonderful interpretations of the signs of
the times.
